The Buddhist shrine in the remote Nepali town of Muktinath draws thousands of pilgrims
eachyear including many who make the journey on foot from India and Tibet.
Taking a well earned rest at3,600 metres above sea level, this pilgrim is
about a four hour walk from the end of his journey.
